Jarvis Mitchem is an award winning author and screenwriter. Jarvis regularly conducts writing workshops and has appeared in Writer’s Digest Magazine and The Florida Writer. Jarvis teaches writing at Full Sail University and received an MFA in Creative Writing from Queens University of Charlotte.
Pip Brackett thought she had her life figured out. She would go to USC, major in Film and then take Hollywood by storm. But then her dream school rejected her, and it looks like she will have to say good-bye to her dreams forever. After meeting a famous Hollywood movie star who disappeared at the height of her career, however, Pip is suddenly given a chance to to get back in into the Hollywood scene. She will only succeed, however, if she can survive the actress's dark world, her alcoholic father's attempts at reconnecting with her, and her growing attraction for a blonde bombshell she never saw coming.

In a Dark Ages style world, Melanie Hardage is an intelligent, allergy-prone sixteen-year-old girl that lives in a world where children are expected to be strong and train to be warriors. Melanie’s life changes when a new Educator offers her the chance to apply for an elite academic training program. After competing in a number of challenges that test her intelligence, humility and virtue, she is one of three Candidates selected. She journeys to a gothic castle in the mountains where she and the other selected students (known as “scribes”) are taught how to commune with the Gods in order to bring mankind out of the darkness. Among the strict guidelines enforced on the scribes is a no physical contact law, a rule many find difficult to abide by… including Melanie as she is drawn to Andrew, a fellow scribe known for his trouble-making. Melanie must resist her own growing feelings for Andrew or else risk being put to death for allowing her love to blossom.

Nola Boudreau made a lot of mistakes. After falling in love with a guy that turned out to be an abusive and drug addicted jerk, she stole from her best friend and abandoned her. Of course, before she can do any of this, she has to die first.
Nola isn’t just your average girl. She’s a human-phoenix hybrid that has lived dozens of lives as different people, and she’s convinced that she can make up for her screw ups by moving onto the next life. However, her sins aren’t so willing to let her move on, and she must battle her ex-boyfriend and worse – her best friend’s terminal illness.
