Jennie Jarvis (she/they) is a neurodiverse, Telly award-winning filmmaker, novelist, and educator. Writer of the award-winning textbook Crafting the Character Arc: A Practical Guide to Character Creation and Development, they also judge for multiple major writing and film competitions each year. A lover of theater as well as movies, they served as the Artistic Director for the Orpheus Theater Group from 2006-2008.

As a college-level educator, they have mentored over 400 student film projects, including several that went on to win or be nominated for major awards including Telly Awards, Suncoast Region Student Production Awards, Student Emmy Awards, and ASC Awards.
