Jennie Jarvis (she/they) is a neurodiverse Telly Award-Winning filmmaker, novelist, and educator. Their work appeared in Writer’s Digest Magazine, The Florida Writer, Bad Apple Zine, Qu Literary, and more. Their textbook, Crafting the Character Arc: A Practical Guide to Character Creation and Development, is used in creative writing classes worldwide.

Jennie Jarvis (she/they) is a neurodiverse Telly Award-Winning filmmaker, novelist, and educator. Their career began working in film and television development where they crafted coverage for producers, investors, actors and writers. For the last twenty years, they have operated as a freelance story analyst and developmental editor for clients worldwide.
As a prose writer, they published the award-winning textbook Crafting The Character Arc: A Practical Guide to Character Creation and Development. Their short film Connection won two Gold Telly Awards, one for writing and one for low budget film. Their prose work appeared in Writer’s Digest, The Florida Writer, Bad Apple Zine, Qu Literary, and more. While their fiction work is diverse in its genre, they consistently writes stories about the dangers of expectation and toxic family dynamics.
Jennie’s biggest loves include their family, inspiring students, drinking coffee, sharing silly animal videos online, and defending those who are traditionally underrepresented.
